[Enid, OK] – Park Avenue Thrift is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving Enid and offering a quality-of-life benefit to our community for its fall 2022 grant cycle. Applications are due by September 23, 2022.
Park Avenue Thrift is an Oklahoma 501(c)(3) that exists to strengthen the Enid community and serve others by collecting donations, running a top-notch thrift store, and giving the proceeds to Enid nonprofits that invest in quality-of-life initiatives.
“2022 has been a wonderful year for Park Avenue and this is all thanks to our shoppers, donors who donate their goods, our community partners, and our amazing employees,” said Stela Jantzen, Park Avenue Thrift executive director. “Because of the tremendous community support, we are able to have another fall grant cycle and help nonprofits in Enid do what they do best; help make Enid a great place to be!”
This April, Park Avenue Thrift awarded $200,832.31 in grants to 20 different Enid nonprofits. They have also awarded $7,064.61 to 28 different Enid classroom projects.
Park Avenue Thrift reached a milestone last year by reaching $3 million in dollars given back to nonprofits in Enid since 2007. Between grants, school funding, and sponsorships this brings their total giving since 2007 to $3,588,388.79.
They plan to reach $4 million in dollars given back in 2023.
