PARK AVENUE THRIFT CONTINUES $5 MILLION MILESTONE CELEBRATION WITH THE PUBLIC LIBRARY OF ENID AND GARFIELD COUNTY’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH
[Enid, OK] – Park Avenue Thrift is proud to continue its $5 Million Milestone Celebration with The Public Library of Enid and Garfield County’s upcoming community event, Smart Start: Tools for School, a vibrant, family-friendly day focused on back-to-school fun in August.
Since 2007, Park Avenue Thrift has given $5 million back to local nonprofits and schools. To celebrate this milestone, Park Avenue Thrift is partnering with five local nonprofit organizations to host a series of community-focused events from June through October. These celebrations are designed to thank the Enid community, empower the organizations Park Avenue Thrift supports, and highlight the meaningful impact of local giving.
“We are so excited to partner with the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County as part of our Milestone Celebration,” said Stela Jantzen, Executive Director of Park Avenue Thrift. “The library is such an essential resource in our community, and they always do an incredible job bringing fun, educational support to families. This back-to-school event is a perfect example of what makes our library so special.”
Smart Start: Tools for School will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will feature a school supply giveaway, guided library tours, and a range of youth-focused performances and activities designed to engage children and families alike.
“We are thrilled to partner with Park Avenue Thrift as part of their $5 Million Milestone Celebration,” said Theri Ray, Library Director. “Park Avenue Thrift's support allows us to expand our programs and to empower families with the tools they need for a successful school year. The Smart Start event is a powerful example of what can happen when community organizations come together to support education and opportunity for all.”
More details about upcoming milestone celebration events will be shared throughout the year.
